On 16 January 2026, SPD Social Labs visited Asylum Access Thailand to enhance research relevance and project-based learning aligned with SPD Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). The visit was led by Ms. Nattanicha Kattiyavara, Head of the SPD Research Lab, and Ms. Sumintra Pornpiruk, Head of the SPD Project Lab.

The meeting focused on identifying research gaps, sharing expertise, and exploring collaborative opportunities on refugee protection, access to justice, and rights-based advocacy, with emphasis on translating research into social impact. Outcomes will inform student-led research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous quality improvement under the SPD Social Labs framework.
