On 18 September, the SPD International Program, Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University, proudly hosted Miss Lê Nguyễn Bảo Ngọc, Miss World Vietnam and founder of Gen Zero, for a special public lecture on “Gender and Development: Women’s Work in ASEAN and the UN.” The Director of SPD International Program, Asst. Prof. Dr. Watchara Pechdin attended the event and delivered important remarks. Dr. Hao Sheng Duan moderated the event.

Her inspiring talk and dialogue with students highlighted women’s central role in poverty reduction, climate action, clean energy, digital transformation, and peacebuilding. She reminded us that advancing gender equality is not only about fairness, but about building resilient communities and inclusive futures.
