On 8 September 2025, the SPD International Program, Thammasat University, proudly hosted Dr. Phan Chi Thanh, Dean of FIPA at Duy Tan University and former Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand. His lecture on “Vietnam’s Thirty Years in ASEAN: Evolving Dynamics in Vietnam–Thailand Relations” offered our students and faculty valuable insights into diplomacy, regional integration and cooperation.

Guided by our moderators, Dr. Pred Evans, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, and Dr. Hao Sheng Duan, the event fostered dynamic exchanges and strengthened dialogue between Thailand and Vietnam. It also paved the way for future cooperation through institutional discussions on an MoU.
