Dr. Mahesh Chougule, Assistant Professor in Social Policy and Development at the Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University, was invited as a Panelist at the 8th International Conference on Gender and Sexuality 2025, held on 21–22 October 2025.
The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, bringing together scholars and practitioners from across the globe to discuss critical issues on gender equality, inclusion, and social transformation.
Dr. Chougule delivered an insightful presentation on “Gender-Sensitive Social Policies: Towards Equality and Inclusion”, emphasizing the role of policy frameworks in addressing gender disparities and promoting sustainable social development.
In addition to his panel presentation, Dr. Chougule also chaired three academic sessions during the two-day event, contributing to vibrant discussions on gender justice, empowerment, and intersectional approaches in social research.
His participation highlighted Thammasat University’s continued commitment to advancing global dialogues on gender and social policy.
