On 8 November 2025, The Social Policy and Development (SPD) organized a study trip titled “Culture Meets Future” to Yaowarat, Bangkok’s renowned Chinatown, offering high school students an opportunity to learn about cross-cultural development and the coexistence of tradition and modernity.
This activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of cultural diversity and social transformation in urban communities. Through guided field visits, interactive discussions, and observation of local businesses and heritage sites, the participants explored how cultural identity continues to shape social and economic life amid rapid modernization.
By engaging directly with community members and local entrepreneurs, SPD we expect students gained first-hand experience in understanding the dynamics of multicultural integration and social policy implications in everyday contexts.
