On 1-2 November 2025, the first-year students from the Social Policy and Development (SPD), Jessie and Tingting, showcased their research at the 2025 Academic Annual Meeting and the 20th International Forum on Social Policy, held at Nankai University, Tianjin, China.

The event brought together leading scholars, researchers, and students from across Asia to exchange insights on emerging social policy challenges in the context of global transformation.

Representing SPD, Jessie and Tingting presented their studies on key issues such as social policy for promoting education, community resilience, and sustainable development, reflecting the SPD’s commitment to evidence-based research and regional knowledge exchange. Their participation highlighted the growing role of youth participation in shaping international discussions on social policy and inclusive development.
