SPD Public Lecture on “Global Trends in Student Mobility – The Power of Data to Inform National and Institutional Strategies and Policies”
On 1 April, 2026, Dr Janet Ilieva, an economist with over 18 years of experience in international higher education research and policy analysis, international student mobility, forecasting and transnational education, and CEO of Education Insight, delivered a fascinating public lecture with insights not only into the constantly shifting trends in student mobility around the world and within this region, but also into how such data is informing and driving very important decisions at institutional, national and also regional levels.
