The Social Policy and Development Programme (SPD) successfully organized the International Conference on Sustainable Development and Youth Participation in Conflict Resolution at Centara Life@Mae Sot, Tak Province, on 12 September 2025. The conference brought together experts, youth representatives, and key stakeholders from the Mae Sot district to discuss sustainable development and the role of young people in promoting conflict resolution.
The event featured paper presentations by students from various institutions in both Thailand and Myanmar, a panel discussion with key stakeholders related to national security, and youth workshop activities.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Minmahaw Higher Education Program (MHEP), Youth Champion, and Love and Care for bringing students to participate in this event. We hope this experience will inspire students to recognize the vital role of youth in advancing conflict resolution and sustainable development.
