On 24-25 October 2024, our SPD Director Dr. Pred Evans and Dr. Mahesh Chougule were invited as speakers at the International Conference on Global Social Welfare at National Taiwan University, one of our close overseas partners. Dr. Evans presented his doctoral research on the internationalisation of higher education and Dr. Chougule presented on social welfare policies post facto covid-19 in ASEAN member states . It was an enriching experience, and engaging with diverse scholars and practitioners provided valuable insights into innovative approaches to social welfare.
